Our Directors
CPS Football Academy Founder (2020)
Andy Bargh
Andy has played at professional academies in the UK and played college soccer in the NCAA for 3 years during his time in America.
He is a UEFA B licensed coach and is a Goalkeeper Coach at Manchester City; coaching U7's - U12's Academy goalkeepers.
Andy has developed CPS Football academy to train over 200 players through the programme at CPS Football Academy since 2020.
CPS Soccer Academy Founder (2014)
Caleb Patterson-Sewell
Caleb has played for New York Red Bulls and played against the worlds biggest stars including Thierry Henry, Casemiro, James Rodriguez, Ederson and many more.

His US academy has developed hundreds of players through the academy and many have gone on to play in professional academies. He is currently Assistant Sporting Director at Memphis 901 FC.

Oliver Chadwick
Oliver brings a passion for football and a wealth of experience. With a three-year tenure playing first-team football at the university level and having been with the academy for 2 years, Oliver combines on-field expertise with a degree from the University of Huddersfield.

Now in a pivotal position, he has played a key role in helping the academy grow and is poised to further develop it's success.
Our Coaches
Lead Coach
Robbie Smith
Robbie has worked for CPS Football Academy since the start of 2022. He has previously coached at Chorley FC, Atherton Collieries FC and Moss Bank Junior FC working with players aged 5 all the way to 18 years old.
Alongside working with CPS Football Academy, Robbie is a full time sports coach delivering PE in Primary Schools.

Jay Poole
Jay recently CPS Football Academy in October 2024 upon the completion of his studies. He is an UEFA C coach and holds a degree in Football Coaching & Management. Jay has previously worked with multiple clubs including; Radcliffe FC, Hale United, Manchester Maccabi and Accrington Stanley.
Alongside his work at CPS Jay is the lead coach for a U9’s and U15’s side.

Joe Critchley
Joe has worked for cps since the start of 2025 he has previously coached players between the age of 5-11.
Joe currently works part time at Greenhill primary school helping teach sports and physical activities. Joe is currently studying at bury college doing a level 2 diploma in sports and taking on a coaching mastery next year .
